I’m a big fan of books-turned-televisions shows. Game of Thrones and True Blood, anyone? I also happen to be a big fan of the Starz original, Sparta
cus. So, when I heard that Starz would be making a TV series from Outlander, Diana Gabaldon’s bestselling novel, I was all like “Yisssss. I will wait for this to come out on DVD and then binge-watch the whole season in one night”.
My next thought was that I should probably read the book.
As fate would have it, I found a gently loved copy in a used bookstore last night. I do not foresee any reason why I will not thoroughly enjoy and love this book. History, fantasy, time travel, romance, sexy Scots? Mmhmm, yes please.

I’m also a fan of Spartacus! Got hooked after the first few episodes and waited impatiently for each new season… so I’ll definitely be giving this one a try too. Haven’t read the book yet though, so will also be doing some pre-binge-watching reading 🙂
